Indoor-Outdoor Pieces
All the furnishings used in the courtyard are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. In other words, they are durable enough to withstand the elements, and yet elegant enough to work indoors. Highlights include a patterned sofa, a statement chandelier, and plush armchairs.
Feature Wall
It's hard to look away from the Caesarstone agate feature wall, which showcases an inset aquarium. "It's a lot for that space, but the outdoors can handle something of this grandeur," Evans says.
Formal Layout
"Things are laid out in a way that you would typically find on the inside of a great room or a beautiful study," the designer says. He centered the fire pit within the lounge space, scattering furniture around it so that the area takes on a grand feeling.
